And I am encouraged by this, kind Sir Roy Owen. I find the rhyme scheme and syllable count to be quite pleasing, and I have learned of a new type of poetry today!
I also love how you included appropriate scripture in the author's notes, that brought back a distant memory of being in Twin Cities Rescue Mission in Marysville California, where you had to attend church before you got dinner.

Blessings,

Brother Badger Cull

What a beautiful poem You words flow with ease.
Now I cannot recall if I read your amazing words.
Here are two quotes that I read.

We are like clay containers filled with a beautiful treasure. So often it has been the love of Jesus expressed through the life of someone I know that has made a difference in my life.
Roy Lessin

God says "This is what I would love you to be, but I am not going to constrain you. I want it to be your choice." And it is a fantastic thing because even at the moment when I am making the choice to reject God, I would depend from moment to moment, you know that beautiful image of God
Gertcreating by breathing God's breath into this lump of clay, making it a human being.

The mind reminds me sometimes of a song. The refrain of a song sometimes just repeats itself all day long, for no real reason other than one of remembrance. So, goes the mind, dwelling on one subject at a time and probing the mysteries we ruffle through. I see something of the kind in this poem of survival. Acceptance prevails.

This is your created poetic form, yes? It truly is a nice form, and one I don't believe I have written yet, so most definitely will.

You have developed your theme very well over the first two stanzas and then resolved as reconciled.

Very, very well written and conceived, Roy. :))

This reminds me of a John Denver song, 'The Potter's Wheel" I enjoyed this poem as well as your picture. Your poem has lovely cadence as well as your message.

Well written Triple-Heptatstich poem...

.I wouldn't know how even start it. Excellent tetrameter and the rhyme is not forced.

I like the imagery and the sea and mind metaphor ... most of us can't understand devine creation.

Well done

Thank you for this stirring poem, full of wisdom and important questions too. I think this is a challenging form and your poem makes it look easy and also beautiful. I loved the sounds of your rhymes and the melodic meter. Very nice, beginning to end.
This is my favorite part:

"This maze, my mind, this shallow sea,
will never know how grows a tree.
But yet I know it matters not
how clay becomes a living pot.
How can we know if faith endures,
and measure ills that trusting cures?
...But many sceptics it still lures."

Thanks for posting this. MM

l love the title to this one, Roy. Nice phrasing here:
if I could plunder time's decree.
For many thoughts would flood my mind,
I realised how paths flow blind

Same with this line:

But yet I know it matters not
how clay becomes a living pot.
the line has depth given the biblical echoes.

Well done

Excellent stuff Roy. I don't think I could put one of these poems together in a thousand years. I especially like the excerpts from the book of Isaiah.
