Your words are lovely, and painted a very vivid picture even before I looked at the picture itself. I appreciate that your poem appeals to several senses, making it as easy to hear and smell what you desribe as see it.
Just a few minor technical points:
- You don't need apostrophes in "blast's" or "it's."
- "Summer time" should be one word. As you have it, grammatically, you're referencing a show about time that takes place in the summer.
Otherwise, nice job, and good luck in the contest.

What a beautiful poem about Duluth and Lake Superior. It is beautiful country of flowers, water, sea gulls and freighters. And a bridge that connects Superior and Duluth.

A beautiful poem, well written, so the reader can easily imagine the sights, sounds, and scents of the scene, almost as if one was there, and it sounds quite lovely.
Note: "Tourists" plural needed. "Blasts its horn" (no apostrophe for this possessive form).

What a lovely rhyming poem with meter. Your descriptions are so vivid and fond that I find myself even wanting to go to Lake Superior now! The part about seagulls eating expensive popcorn was hilarous.
