The image (including the photo that accompanies it) is lovely and comes acreoss as genuine and universal. The rhyme scheme is good, but you may want to consider using a specific meter as well in a structured poem of this sort. Nice work.

Great poem and such a wonderful subject for your memories. Having a child is the most wondrous thing in this life. Sharing that moment with you brought me back to my own experience of having my child.
