You have surely made good use of your seventeen syllables. Great use of

The most magical memory I have ever had concerning Winter is that I survived 20 months in North Dakota, spent largely outside in brutal Winter weather and I somehow survived. I do not believe that I will ever suffer conditions more harsh than that which I have already been through. I love the composition of this poem, it gave me shivers. LOL.

turning water to ice, brown to white;
fortunately his also disappears at the end of his act.
