The imagery in this is awesome as well. I can almost see and smell your words.

Oh, it is a haiku I think, LOL. Well, when the contest says 5-7-5 does that mean a haiku or senryu - your choice? ?or something else nit bound by anything except syllable count?Hi

How well you capture the essence of Van Gough's famous painting. Your connection between the flurry of flight and the smell of the damp earth achieves a visceral feel. Very nicely done. How much you have said in these few words.

Thanks! Yes, I love Van Gogh and this is such an expressive picture it drew out strong emotion especially since he painted it some time near his death.
