Same! I've been inside in the air conditioning all week so not really the same. But if I were at work I'd bet be in the same boat. It's crazy how the heat can affect us in every way.

I like apple sauce and I like this poem! You certainly got your feelings expressed in this one! IT'S HOT AND MUGGY!!! ughhhhhh. But hey, reclining on a couch?? Hmmm that doesn't sound too bad! :-) I'm sure the light-headedness with go away with a nice cold glass of lemonade! :-)

Oh dear this is a very sad poetic thrust indeed, I thought by now the summer heat had dissipated somewhat by the seasonal change that may sweep the Northern Hemisphere at this time. Yes indeed, the weather does create many different feelings. Some love the heat, yet others languish in it. It is quite amazing that one can experience such a lack of spirit from heat.

Heat can get you down. Thank God for air conditioning. When it's hot it is hard to do anything. I like the 70's where it is sweat shirt weather. You must have piping hot temps.....no wonder your muscles ache!

What impressed me the most about this poem was the vocabulary used. I found it pertinent and explicit. For example,
stifled by this ceaseless heat.
