This is an interesting form. I haven't tried it yet. As to why they fly so high, I think it's because it's their nature. (Pretend there is a smile emoji here). Eagles fly high, hummingbirds fly low. I think they would be in big trouble if they tried to switch around! I know it wasn't an actual question, I just had to add that bit. It's a charming poem and a lovely picture. I'm not great at writing things for children. I know that rhyme and rhythm appeals to children. Children like clever word play if it's not above their heads. It needs to be cheerful, I think. I've only written a couple poems for children so I'm not an expert.

The prompt is really tough! Hard to convey much with so few syllables but I think you did it well. I wish there was a little more to it and the general question kind of throws me off a bit
