This is a great contest entry! I really enjoyed this poem; the messiness and the rhyme. I've been there and done that too :) I once had to stop in the middle of mucking a horse stall to make arun to a drug store. Did not have time to change. I know I smelled pretty, pretty bad. Oh well.

Really cute photo choice. I worked around horses once. I didn't have to muck out the stalls but that smell stays with and on you for a long time and it is powerful. This is a very cute poem. Good luck in the contest.

I've had the questionable pleasure of mucking out a cow barn. It can be a very messy job if extreme care isn't taken.
The poem is comic, but relatable. The rhyme scheme is consistent. The poem stays on message. The flow is good.
