This happens so much of the time. It happened to my aunt. She had a mean, abusive husband. Now she has a wonderful husband and at 80 she has got to travel with him places that she has never been. I hope that you have had this fortune as well. Great poem. Good luck!

I'm a little wishy-washy when it comes to the concept of soulmates. But I do believe in finding the right person to share your life with, is pretty rare. I've known three women in my life. The first lady I was married to, divorced me after 32 years of marriage. She never really listen to me. Second lady did listen to me but are our lives were so different that the relationship only lasted 10 years. Presently, I've been married 4 1/2 yours to the third lady that not only listens, but we have shared interests. Every day I am more grateful to have her in my life. Sorry this is so long but this is what your poem brought out of me. Best wishes.
