Your story is very well written and conveys beautifully how having children is yearned for by some, making each unsuccessful pregnancy attempt a time of sorrow.... and then hallelujah - A child is born. At last being able to fill in that census form with an addition to the family would indeed be a triumphant moment.

This story left me with a warm-hearted feeling and a smile. Despite the word limit I was drawn in and felt for the man as he filled out the form and felt a hit for the failed IFV attempts. You think you know how it is going to end and then you surprise the reader.

What a sweet story, even if it is fiction. Being childless myself, I remember the heartache of every month realizing that I still wasn't pregnant. I can't imagine how excited your niece was to find out that she became pregnant without any help. In our case, we adopted our children. Good luck with the contest.

I am very glad you were able to adopt and have the joy of children. Amazingly she has just become pregnant again (her first has just turned one recently), again natural conception. After so many years of trying she will now have two to love. Thank you so much for your super review, and thoughtful words and good wishes.
