This creative poem has smooth easy rhymes making it a delight to read. I agree. Monday is quite a difficult day, especially if you're still in the work force. If you have to clean and do laundry, it's still an ugly day. Your poem is humorous and fun. I hope you do well in the contest.

too cute. Love the cat pic. I believe My Mondays are the same as yours, which tells me. . .we are most likely from the same era. Maybe it's really Monday that hasn't changed? Whether your 28 or 78. . .Monday seems to be the same for us all. Fun reading for this bleak Monday. :)

It sounds here like this cat would much prefer a lazy week at home rather than work and many humans would also agree! I am glad I am retired and my time is my own, it was a long time coming and I am enjoyed every day off! A fine well rhymes write, love Dolly x
