In my place, you might have done exactly the same thing -- maybe some people would have waited longer to call 911, but I doubt most people would have sat on the floor and waited for the morning staff to show up! I don?t remember whether I prayed, but that would have been a very good idea. I know God was watching over me that night, and I thank Him for helping me, not only that night, but so many times.
