I must catch up on a couple of chapters. The buzz at school sure makes life unpredictable for Katherine. And the lawyer that's annoying her, must know he's in the wrong.

Sorry it's taken me so long to review your post. But, they liked me so much at the hospital the first trip that, they made me come back for a longer visit. Glad to be out and reading your posts. :-) Hope your wrist is doing better!

I love how you tell stories. The characters seem so real to me... so easy to see and understand their motivations and thinking. The interaction and dialogue is also extremely well done. It seems obvious you are a professional. This is so good, I can't wait to read on. MM

That Melton sure is aggressive and oppressive. If he's a lawyer, he should know about assault and battery. Apparently, he's the Neanderthal.

Jordan seems quite mature for his age, but maybe that comes from losing his father at such a young age.

Glad your wrist seems to be showing a bit of improvement. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Barb,

Wow. 27 more posts! Girl, I am so proud of you!! I wish I could get my hiney in gear and get back on the prose train. --sigh-- I don't know what's wrong with me. Grrrr... Oh, well. Maybe some day!

A couple of notes here:
1.) He walked up to Katherine's SUV and opened the driver(')s door. 44

2.) He winked. "You're welcome. I'll catch up with you later.(")

Thanks - I enjoyed!!

As always, this continues to be on a high level. The dialogue is realistic and chocked full of emotion. I think you created a great scene in that confrontation between Gabriel and the ex; the dialogue was really sharp and you also set up what could be really suspenseful and tension filled chapters to come. This is really unfolding really well and I think it would make a great mini series for tv with a bit more polishing. estory

I enjoyed this chapter as I do all of them. Katherine's children all seem pleased with the coach being in their mother's life. The parking lot kiss seems to have generated a lot of talk and teasing. It was interesting that Jordon wanted to thank the coach for what he did.

Wow! I reviewed the last post yesterday and by golly, you have posted once again! I love the love interest in this true-to-life story there is nothing I would rather do than read this kind of romantic story! And, after this one is over I will look forward to your next written work! I find no errors or corrections I would offer as suggestions so I'd say you are clear and steady all the way!
I have the patience of a soft pillow so do not worry that I will stop reading sometime soon!
Take good care of yourself,
Jesse

Another good chapter, Barbara, with authentic dialogue and interaction between the characters. Jordan is solidifying his position by his caring and protective behaviour. However, I get the feeling that Katherine is capable of looking after herself!

Katherine is totally capable of taking care of herself, but the males in her life feel they must do it. LOL I can actually understand. I can take care of myself, but having raised 4 boys, each feels it's his job to take care of Mom. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

Katherine and Gabriel are coming closer and it feel great to read about their exchanges. I am glad that Gabriel took care of Melton. Thank you for this enjoyable chapter..
