It may be fiction but it got me right in the heart!! I have books everywhere and am working on a blog where I can sell them. Some will live with me forever, but some will earn money to buy more. For me, books live and take me places I cannot go. This is such a fine story and you made fiction seem real.

Awwwww, what a wonderful story. I'm hoping I have grandchildren who will have the same feeling about me after I have passed. I was a pre-school teacher so I've encouraged my grandchildren to pass their books on to the school libraries, Toys for Tots at the fire departments and to the women's shelters. . .and in the last few years. I think we also donated to the afterschool programs at the YMCA. Thank goodness many favorites have stayed on their bookshelves.

Hmm, interesting narration about Nan and Tim, there shared love of books and passing on from one generation to another. I think you will hit many writers and book lover on the site right in the heart. This was a wise and smart choice to write about with the right aged characters.

What a wonderful story for this contest. Like Jenny in the story, I have a large collection of books and hate to part with any of them. But over the last few years I have been gradually passing them on to friends, because I know they will probably just be thrown out when I am gone. Too bad, Jenny couldn't have just given them all to her grandson while she was still alive.

Yes, I always buy books for all the grandkids (can't stop myself).
But I did get this credit voucher when we downsized (after I gave away as many books as possible to family and friends) and gave it to my eldest grandson. All the rest is fiction.
