Now those are the hugs that matter most. To love and to be loved. Unconditional! And not performance based. LOL. I guess I haven't read anything from you for months it appears. Now, I know why I was missing your posts. I'm just slower with everything the last few months, but since they have my ticker working again, I'm ready to ROCK . . . well, that might be exaggerating. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Wow!!! 6 reviews from you. How exciting. I am so flattered. Some of these things that I write are a bit crap but I like the challenge of the prompts and to track the voting.. I am so sorry that you've been in hospital with your ticker. Have you got someone to look after you? Stay well. Hugs

I would have read and reviewed much sooner if I had even known you had posted. Both trips in the hospital, I meet a nurse or two who wanted to become my personal health givers. But, I think they thought I was Irish . . . because all they really wanted was my Lucky Charms. LOL. Luckily, I'm still perfectly capable of taking care of myself. I remember my grandfather being worried about me in my thirties, wanting me to find someone and settle down. He said, "Son, have you found you a girlfriend and trying to grow up. I said, "No, Pops, I'm still just using everybody else's." Hugs and peck on the forehead!

How I like this poem. The image is very touching. It is rather nice when grandma (granny) is around so they can hug their grandchildren. The best feeling, too, is when they hug you back.

Your poem has the right syllable count and also the most endearing picture and message. I loved reading it and think you have a real way of working this style of poetry. I find the really short ones difficult. You make it look easy. Great job.
