I think you should definitely create such a contest, and I'm betting it would be a big success. Everyone has something they want to write about, and making it into a news story would be very challenging. Good luck in this contest.

Sounds like what most of the large supposed news stations are doing now. Breaking news shows on their screens - and then they fictionalize and spin each story to their benefit. haha. :)

I would totally do this contest. "Harambe posthumously wins 2016 election, using Trump as his Manchurian alias write-in". True story. But Trump added a little too much saturation to his TV make-up. He was supposed to look more like a banana and his rebellion against the dress code cost him the last election.

Because historical "facts" are seen not by ourselves, but through the eyes of another, even one's own biographies, by necessity aren't always the absolute, we have to fill in some things we can't remember. I actually take with a pinch of salt historical and biographical accounts of a good read, beautifully written, blessings Roy
