What a great thing to do! Bless sweet Rebecca and Ellie for their generosity! Their beautiful locks will grow again soon! I know some women are devastated by the loss of hair. I never had a lot of hair so losing mine during chemo six years ago was not a big deal. I started to wear hats. But now I do have hair almost to my waist - sparse but hair does grow back - another miracle of God's creation of the body!

Reading this story gave me chills, Wendy. What beautiful girls you have raised. It sounds like there is a lot of cancer where you are. I know there's plenty here too, but I personally know of only a couple of people who have died from it.
I used to have long, thick hair when I was young. I can remember only three times in my life that I got it all cut off. I wish I'd know about the opportunity to donate it when I did.

I am a breast cancer survivor. During chemo, I did not wear a wig, I wore a scarf. Wigs are simply too hot for Texas.

Rebecca voluntarily sacrificed their hair for those that lose it also, but due to cancer. Amazing! You taught them well, to consider others first.:)
