You've got some good organizational skills. I learned how to transition from one chapter to the next.
I like the vernacular - with the child. (kid) "Concentroiting mates me hungwy."
Remember, I said Cordelia is an inner dowser, so she was unfamiliar with device dowsing, so I needed to educate her. She had told me she was looking forward to learning as much about it as she could. Messages just seem to come to inner dowsers. They just have a way of knowing.
Dowsing is a fascinating subject. Some people get it right immediately ...others well.
Here are some comments from this grizzled old prospector. You're writing is clear and succinct. Even though I have no idea about the storyline the chapter flowed and I could understand the fragment of the story I read. It's hard to walk into the middle and try to extrapolate from the previous writes. I get that all the time. I run with what I get.
For me, your voice is unique.
It appears you introduced the Paranormal thing. A subject I find fascinating. I'll need to read more of this. I'm wrapped up in a psychic phenomenon story now myself. The highlight of the day after that plow wiped out the mailbox in that crummy ice storm.

This was very well done and a great continuation chapter, Liz. I called it well done because there there was still a great sense of mystery and suspense to it. First and foremost, the fact that the ladies ate a whole tin of biscuits. Then they experienced the confusion of the chicken, who would know that they had to add particular spices. And the energies involved in the other cottages was remarkable. All of this ties together for a great chapter.

Thank you for your involved review. They do not know what the feeling means, any more than the reader does. It shows itself when we and they've totally forgotten the plate. But we will look back and remember the foreshadowing.

I didn't find this chapter as exciting as the last one I read, as to my mind not very much happened here. However, not every chapter of a novel can be like a roller-coaster, so perhaps this is no bad thing.
