It's a beautiful poem and great picture of a happy looking couple. It is had to thank God at a time when you are saying Goodbye to the most precious thing on earth but you have to know God blessed out with the love of your life and he wasn't with you now, comforting you, your grief would be off the charts. The fact you will see her again is most comforting to a Christian. Thanks for sharing. I've been in that position, too.

I strongly felt a deep sense of both gratitude and heartache in this beautiful poem of everlasting love. Gratitude that God created her just for you and heartache because you had to let her go. It actually brought tears to my eyes. What a stunning photograph too. I can actually see and feel the 'oneness' of two souls together. I know how hard it must have been to write of your last moments together.
There was excellent flow to the poem, and the rhyme was so enjoyable. I have to give you a 6, for heart, soul and skill were put into the making of such a touching poem.

This poem is creatively and beautifully written with feeling and emotion. It may express words and thoughts between the two people pictured, but it could also have meaning for others. As I read, the words adequately expressed how I felt at my mother's passing. "I thanked God he made her mine." Best wishes in the contest.

I'm guessing this is a non-fiction poem, you couldn't write like this if it wasn't. The photo also is a clue to tell me I'm right. I'm so very sorry for your loss. This poem should do very well in the contest, love like this only comes to the few, and it certainly came to you. Beautiful tribute to your beloved wife who is also your soul-mate.
