She is beautiful, but has many reasons to feel anxious. What can she expect, and who will defend her if he is abusive? You capture a moment when a person can only await something unforeseeable.

This spare style really appeals to me. I love the line 'unfolds revealing pistil.' While this is part of a flower, it also sounds like a pistol, with many connotations other than flower. Its brilliant in its conciseness and beauty. Thanks J
