I really like this beautiful spiritual evening prayer. Your kyrielle is unique to me because your repeated line repeats a line from one stanza to another in a different line in the next. The only style I know is the same line repeated in each stanza. Congratulations on the second place finish!

You have no meter applied to your poem at all. These are usually written in iambic meter with the stress on the second syllable. You could look it up on line to understand the process, love Dolly x

I have never been able to put in words the way I feel at twilight but your poem does it very well - a feeling of contentment and a sense that the Lord is very near.

Lovely poem. I feel the peace and contentment just reading your work. It reminds me of my visits to Siesta Key on the beach at sunset. It's my favorite time of day there and your piece is evocative of the feelings that go through me there. Thank you for sharing this.
