I enjoy this poem. Definitely it rhymes well...

How many jars could tear-drop fill? This is an emotional question for me. It reminds me of my tears from the day I learned my wife had cancer till the days she passed away. Certainly it can fill a few jars for 7 years of surgery and chemo... When she passed away, I had no more tears but felt relieved for her...

Thanks for sharing such a nice poem.

Your opening and closing lines make a great closing couplet Roy in this Kyrielle poem. Great alliteration with
Hunter hovers like a hawk
A dramatic thought provoking read. Well written, Roy.
Cheers

That was a fun poem to read. It really felt poetic. I've never read this type of a poem before. I really like this storyline. I've sometimes wondered how many tears it would take to fill a jar when I have read the story in the Bible about the alabaster jar.

-Thanks for the notes and poem, Roy.
-It is well written with effective imagery,
rhyme, and repeating lines.
-I like the opening question.
-You offer things like desire, love,
and even the "wind will talk."
-But there is caution with the
repeating like about the wolf.
-I think the lesson is don't overdo
anything, especially those things can
can lead to excess because many tears
will fall and "the wolf doth stalk."

Roy, you never disappoint. I didn't catch the wolf reference until you cited the verse out of Matthew. (Feeling a bit thick right now... lol)
This is a beauty. The words flow well, the form fits the poem perfectly. Well done!
Blessings,
D

"How many jars could teardrops fill." The first line is brilliant. It hooks your reader immediately. The wolves stalk - beware the false prophets.
The writing is perfect, beautifully presented as a thoughtful call of the danger that exists.
Thank you for the read.
