I enjoyed the flow and the end rhymes and your sentiment is loving and faithful, much enjoyed and you won my vote.

Because you used never in the previous line, I would suggest this instead:

"You (didn't) looked at other girls"

Love Dolly x

This is so beautifully expressed that it surely deserves to win the contest. I like how the strength and depth of love develops over time. An eternal love such as this is most surely a blessing from God.

Beautiful poem indeed, smoothly flowing, well constructed, unforced rhyme. The theme of such a cherished love, with the journey through all of life is finely expressed. Best wishes for this lovely entry in the contest.

Hello author, your poem is a tribute to everlasting love, indeed.
The poem reads and flows well and has silky rhyming within.

I especially liked:
With passing years, I loved you more
than on our wedding day.
You proved to me a million times
your love was here to stay.
(Wow)

And:
Love isn't something meant to die.
The gift come from above.
When it is nourished here on earth,
death never stops one's love.
(Everlasting Love, indeed--just beautiful)

A poem from the heart. Well chosen artwork. As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. LateBloomer

I love your love poem. It brims with the feeling of love and forever. I did find one little nit (Those days few) few should be flew. You did a great job. Shirley

This is a beautiful yet sad poem for this contest entry, good luck. I felt really sad when I read that he had died five years ago. I lost my wife three years ago, so I know the feeling. In verse four, I think there is a typo. "few" should be "flew," good job.

I thought this was very well done. I was surprised that the relationship went sideways as I read on. But that was refreshing because it was told so well. Great job.

Thank you Michael. We were together a lot of years but death eventually separates all of us.

Dear Mystery Writer,

How sweet! There's nothing in the world like true love that lasts through the years. A lot of things are thrown at relationships and it shows a lot about the character of those folks when you see how they handle it and stay together. Thanks!

Thank you Robyn. When you have someone who really loves you, you can help but love them back. Of course it takes commitment, but it is worth it.
