Your kids are more or less grown up, and are making there ow stance, but as we all discover it's not as easy as the young think it is, but their optimism keeps them from collapsing under the strain that life naturally bring you. Beautifully written Beth, thanks for sharing, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy. My kids keep wanting me to continue with this story because I'm reminding them of things about their own lives, they've already forgotten.

I ran out of six. This is good. I cab see the expression on Don's face the moment he was introduced to his little girl. Wow, a special moment. So Charlie and the bird had their differences, LOL.
Good one Beth.

Thanks for sharing this episode from your family saga. I thought the parakeet incident was funny! I think I want a parakeet now. But I have a cat who loves birds. I'm glad that Charlie and Evan hit it off so well. So glad that your parents could meet their first great-grandchild. It sounds like your mother's health issues continued.
Your title has an exclamation point instead of a number 1. Just FYI.

Thank you Helen. Parakeets and cats don't go together well. My dad lost his pet parakeet to a cat. Thanks for reviewing and commenting.

Very nice piece. I feel as though I really knew the characters and felt like I was right there with them.
I look forward to reading the next chapter.

This is another interesting chapter in your family's history, Beth. I enjoyed reading it. You cover so many people, interests, and places, but it all fits together. I'm happy your parents were able to spend some time with great grand baby and you got some pictures. I really like the baby's full name. Don worked hard to get his license along with everything else that was happening. I hope Christi found something and someone that made her happy.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan
