I love the image of riding a bicycle with this song in your head. I remember being so angry when I came out of the theater the day I saw the movie. Raging 60's youth. Nicely done. Congratulations.

First of all, Nice post where the picture is concerned. Nevertheless, I don't know if people are born to be wild, but to each his own. Stay Connected. And keep writing those bombs

Born to be wild brings many scenarios to surface within my head. If you like to ride motorcycle it is a red neck scene. Motorcycles are wonderful if you ride them carefully and wear a helmet.

Happily, where I live, riding a motorbike is not necessarily equated with a 'red neck' scene. 'Born to be wild' depends on the person, behaving irresponsibly or just enjoying freedom. As you so rightly point out, riding carefully and wearing a helmet are essential. It's nutcases in cars who will kill us. (I've been riding motorbikes for 50 years now.)

Your writing has brought back many writings with this choice of song. Interesting to look back on one's life and compare it with those youthful aspirations. Best wishes for your entry.

Thanks for reminding me of that song. I think it's been used for lots of Ads and other things. My officemate in the 1990s loved blasting that song when he rode his motorcycle. It's a great song to use for your entry for this contest. Best wishes!

-We are of the same era; I am a year older than you.

bicycle and all!
-Good luck in the contest.

Music makes hearts beat, and you sure got that song to make you evolve a mindset that you were born to be wild.

Your work earns its texture through its effective use of imagery.

Excellent work. Bravo.

Truly daring, adventurous, memorable, music made hearts beat when you heard 'Born to be Wild' sung in the 1960s; the song convinced you were born to be wild; well said, well done; post more. ALCREATOR LITT DEAR (D R)
