What an outstanding story that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, I read a lot of people and they only give us 6 sixes to last a week. And most times, mine are already gone by Monday or Tuesday. But, sadly, I never have one left so late in the week as Friday. This is one time that I wish I had a six to reward you deservingly. Thanks for sharing. And, Congratulations on your contest win! Ric

I enjoyed reading your story and could feel the love between you and your husband. Collecting the spoons was such a great idea, mementos of your travels with your husband you will always have. Excellent writing here and I am a fan of memoir and this is an interesting memoir.

Congratulations on winning the contest. This is a beautiful story of love and togetherness. I truly like the idea of promising to send your spouse or partner a sign when your spirit leaves your body. Whenever Mom has a decision to make whether it's to get new tires or new carpeting, while she's walking the dogs, she sees an eagle. She's positive it's Dad helping her make that decision. I do understand.
