This sounds very much like my days. Refrigerator for me and cats, back to the computer for fun, and feeding and water for the cats. I can certainly relate to this. Good luck in the contest.

I think I would become motion sick if I had to spend a day in your life LOL. A wonderful and descriptive story you have written. Your writing puts your reader there, in your shoes. Great job and good luck in the contest.

Your work was creative with a twist of humor. I really enjoyed reading this! I have a pet (dog) and it has also become very clear to me they are a part of everything- invitation or not.

An interesting bit of tale. I have two large dogs who play block and bump. Getting about, especially in the hall, is a challenge.
A tongue in cheek story that is amusing because it is so graphic in detail. The pace is good. The language fits the situation. The piece stays on point.
Suggestion:
Aforesaid means mentioned before therefor the second mention is redundant. I would suggest replacing with a modifier for cat. i.e. playful.

Thanks for your comments. My dad used to always say "aforesaid mentioned" knowing it was tautological. I was probably unconsciously channeling him. I'll amend my story.

If you were to do drugs, you could double trip. I suggest doing it also with VR goggles on. Maybe you could get a pair for your cat as well? I think it would be pretty cool if you played a game with it in VR. You might learn some new things about each other.
Regarding your peace: there aren't any errors to be found although I think you could make it a bit funnier with more showing, less telling. I could be told from the perspective of the cat, or capturing you in motion as you are flying through the air, trying to save your computer and not break your knees. Idk, just some ideas for you.
