This twenty-seven-word story, Angel, has the proper word count and sends up tribute to a loving and caring woman, sharing the love and promise of God with everyone. Neat.

Moving, your piece to me is very spiritual, sharing compassion for other people. Showing unconditional love and hope just because it is the right thing to do. You should do well in the contest.

I find this to be just so beautiful.
I don't know if this contest has ended yet,
but I wish you the best of luck.
'She introduced all to her Father.'
No greater gift.
Blessings...

This is a beautiful poem to read. The elderly need so much love, because so many of them are left with no one or nothing. Great job. Shirley

Yes. She is an angel, or a saint. I believe God places angels in our lives to ease our pain or comfort us. There have been angels in my life, and I have tried to be a blessing to others. You've written an entire story in three sentences. Best wishes in the contest.

Hi there,
I originally thought of Mother Teresa when i was reading this but then she was an embezzler and religious zealot...
Of course, she could be an angel but not likely. maybe a good person or her Father is a cult leader and she's brainwashing folk to join the cause...
who knows?
Well written little piece

Thank you for reviewing - and yes, I deliberately left it ambiguous!

This saintly woman sounds like Mother Theresa, leading a life of service, devotion, and testimony. Your poem reminds us there are angels in our midst who selflessly bring comfort to the weak, the lonely, and the forsaken, bringing them home to our Lord.

Thank you very much LisaMay. Yes, I was thinking of Mother Theresa as I wrote it, but wanted to leave it a bit ambiguous (also to be fiction ...)

This is the first of these contest entries I've reviewed. I like it because you put humanity into the equation. This could describe Mother Teresa or who knows how many others that help lead people to the Father. Very nice. Good luck in the contest.
