I dont know what I would do without TV. It has gotten me through so much these last few months. Should we read more books? Probably yes! But TV is so much easier

As with everything, there are two sides to this story. There's a lot of good on TV, but there's a lot of crap, too. What a wonderfully written poem.

Thank you. You are right of course, but the crap is easily turned off with the remote...whenever my husband let's me have it. Hahaha. Thanks again.:)

This is a great entry for the Everyday Magic contest. It is truly magical that we can watch tings live happening all around the world, and travel to all the wonderful archaeological sites we'd never see otherwise. There is plenty of junk, but their are also gold and diamonds to be mined. Good luck in the contest.

Television does produce lots of attractions, whether they are good or bad is beyond our imagination. The Olympics have been on recently..a delightful broadcast.

An excellent poem for this contest, good luck. A wonderful job of explaining how television can be magical. The first time I saw it in 1954 it was magical. And for me, it has remained that way. Good job.

We got a TV in 1966 and it was a small black and white. The biggest thrill of my life. Thanks so much for this nice review. :)

Oh, a poem from my own heart. Thank goodness for the magic of tv. I am visiting my daughter for 2 months, and they never turn on the tv. I am suffering with boredom. And, my poor mother was bedridden for years. TV was her life. People who call it an "idiot box" are simply short-sighted. There's magic in that box.

I SO agree with the message in your excellent, well detailed poem. When I was a kid, we got three channels and, obviously, limited choices. Now I get every type of channel imaginable!
