A great tanka, Gypsy. I absolutely loved the picture, it looked so whimsical. Your words were great- the White Egret Orchid actually swayed in the breeze and made the other flowers envious. Very well done, greatly enjoyed. Blessed be n hugs.

That is such a gorgeous flower! No wonder it's the envy of all the flowers in the Emperor's courtyard. Your tanka took us from the wild natural environment to the special care of the royal garden.

Another fine poem, Gypsy, and is it a flower or a hummingbird hovering over a small white flower and draining it of life giving nutrients. It's a bi-pic, could go either way!
