Rod,
Quite amazing for your many winning entries in various contests. Certainly a tribute to your writing skills in various formats.
Do like your internal rhyme and your f-letter alliteration for this one-liner.

It was your 15th review. Others reviewed were not close for recognition, albeit some I undoubtedly should have reviewed.

Ciao!
When I read this lovely one-liner, Vincent Van Gogh came to mind.
He loved to paint outdoor scenes ..I love his bold brushstrokes, the swirls and sweeping movements he created in his work and the thick impasto.
I think a painting of Vincent would have enhanced even more the words of your poem.
The first video below shows some of Vincent's less-known paintings..my favourite is at the 1.40 mark I get all emotional looking at it.
Nice rhyme work with brush and flush (referring to the emotional reaction ).
Also love Don McLean's song.
Have you seen the animated film Loving Vincent? ... the producers used a new technique... 125 painters reproduced Vincent's paintings that then were animated. The drawings in black and white instead are fill-ins needed to move the story.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for this amazing review of Springtime Miracle. I was inspired to write it by a Claude Monet painting, but I like Van Gogh?s works almost as well. I truly appreciate your linking me to the Don MacLean song and the animated trailer. Both are a pleasure to watch and listen to. Rod

The picture says a thousand words. Flowers need sunshine and water. Nature has given what they need.
Flowers are beautiful. They are wonderful gifts for all locations.
Thanks for sharing. Good job.

I like the choice of words in this poem because it gives homage to God. We know that God created the world and everything in it. I think that poet is a great writer and I enjoyed reading this poem. I enjoy reading poems that talks about the universe and that gives God the credit as being the creator because some people denies this to be true.

You did an excellent job you painted a picture with your words. Each word creatively speaks to the reader. The picture is perfect, together they make a wonderful presentation. Good luck.

I appreciate this praise from a competitor, Tom. Yes, your poem is vaguely similar to mine, but the DESERT background is far different from my flowered meadow. Rod

This artist is portraying what a painting consists of; a sweep if a brush creates lush flowers. How many of us would be that quick with a brush so the flowers would look natural?

Many thanks, Rosemary, for sharing my poem. Only God can wield a brush like this artist did. Rod

You have chosen a beautiful image to support your poem, and the words are suggestive of much more - God as Creator, His love of beauty, and His power. I like the internal rhyme. Excellent work. Best wishes.

I really enjoy the imagery here; that and the alliteration "flush with flowers" created a soothing, relaxing mood. The personification in God's paintbrush and the powerful ease suggested by "one sweep" were further examples of poetic devices effectively employed.
