Yes, we love our high school football here in Texas, esp East Texas, my friend! The storyline is interesting and held my attention throughout the piece;-) The characters interacted perfectly together! The imagery is spot on and ties it all together for a great presentation!

Another great chapter to read. You did an excellent job, as always. I didn't see a single error. Does pressure changes cause you to swell? If you have to wear a compression sleeve when you fly, it seems to indicate pressure changes could be a problem. Have a great evening. Shirley

Yes, air pressure causes problems. I think that's also why changes in altitude does too.

The in-laws are interfering again, using Katherine's cancer as an excuse to get custody. I hope that notion will quickly get squashed. They are not interested in the boys. If they were, they'd have visited them and shown them some attention. Gabriel's job offer is another complication. I think he didn't take it for good reasons. He's where he wants to be at this point in his life. Excellent developments and characterization. judi

If that issue comes up, stories like yours will help me learn how to approach it. I am wise enough to know that each situation depends upon the individual. You're so sweet and encouraging. I do get some negative reviews. Most of them have to deal with being too goody two shoes. They want more sex. One person actually said Gabe would have left Katherine a long time ago because she won't go to bed with him. No man would put up with that.

The Bears were victorious and O'Henry didn't get the ball again. [You know, I find that hard to believe that O'Henry wouldn't get the ball over a period of 3 quarters. It would be more believable to say he never made more than 10 yards.]

I think somehow Katherine's affliction will probably follow your experience. But kudos to this character Gabriel. It shows people can change into somebody they respect and like. After all life is about one's own integrity and dignity, not cleverness or ambition, we have to live with ourselves, I've been both sides of the fence. Doing the right thing is a decision. I think somehow Katherine's affliction will probably follow your experience. But kudos to this character Gabriel. It shows people can change into somebody they respect and like. Thank you for this chapter. I like the decision that Gabriel made to stay with his school. Glad Katherine is recovering well. I had surgery for breast cancer over three years ago, but did not have to go through treatments.

That's a good thing. My mom had her left breast removed because of cancer and just had to take a pill. My cancer ended up being stage 4, so had all the treatments. Thank you for the kind review.
