This is fun and funny and evidently true. I don't go in for contests but from what I have heard they only pay in member dollars when you win second or third prizes in a contest. They pay with a Visa card when you win first prize and when you cash it in it amounts to $100 dollars. Yet most people don't win the first prize so they only get member dollars and that is just how it is! A fun limerick with truth involved, I enjoyed reading this very much!

This is true. During my years with FanStory I've entered many of those contests only won first place twice. It is much easier to win when the members vote. It is hard to figure out what the contest committee is looking for as a winner.
