Beautiful presentation. No one has looked upon the face of God and lived - so says the Bible. Even Moses had to speak to a burning bush. I think this is because God is Spirit and has no form as such. But He shows himself in the birds and bees and flowers, in all sorts of ways. If we were to paint Him our rendition would be correct from our hearts. K xx

Thought-provoking and beautiful. I believe each of us has our own vision, but of course, none of us know for sure. If we believe, then we accept him as our hearts see him.

Absolutely true. I try to picture Him as young and Middle Eastern in appearance, but I don't see clearly at all. Nevertheless "even though we haven't seen Him, we love Him" ....Thanks so much for the review.

Even in our greatest of imaginings...we can't
come close.
Such a true, and lovely entry.
I also like the artwork you chose.
Good luck,

Wendy,
I have read several of these entries so far and yours may very well be my favorite. *smile* Certainly, God's glory would be far too wondrous to even consider trying to capture on one canvas - or a thousand.
It's even hard to try to imagine capturing those angels appropriately!
You have the right word count and it looks like you meet the rest of the requirements, too. Thanks so much and good luck!

I remember there is an actual painting of Jesus, painted by a young girl called Akiani Klamarik from a vision, and confirmed by a young boy who went to Heaven, but I know what you mean, how Does one paint glory? beautifully written Wendy, blessings Roy

This is a great short spiritual dialogue. Especially, the last sentence is just perfect:
His glory is beyond imagining!
So true. Good luck in the contest.

"The Son of God? Impossible, His glory is beyond imagining!"
Very well said, Wendy. A great entry for the contest. We feel the Lord with us, but we cannot see Him with our eyes and no one could paint a true picture of Him. Won't it be wonderful when we see Him face to face?

This twenty-one-word story, Beyond Me, has all the elements required for the challenge, and reminds the readers that God is only limited by our ability to imagine His awesomeness.

I am unsure what to say and puzzled as to where they come up with these challenges (21 words-three sentences). But "it is written; let it be done." You crossed their i's and dotted their t's. Good luck.

Thanks Tom for reviewing. Yes, there is a huge variety of challenges.
Any way I can improve it that you can see?

I wouldn't dare suggest. You're so talented and this genre is new to me.
-
Lol. That's fine. (You will find that on this site many people are offended if you give fewer than five stars without any suggestions. Be prepared or some quite sharp responses. It's a bit weird! Means that writers really don't know what reviewers think if they are just reviewing with five stars to get the reward in member money. Doesn't help one's writing to improve.) Lol
-
Do they get more reward for giving a five star? I don't unless it's the best of the list of a contest vote, though if there is a tossup for the best within a contest both could rate the best.
-
No, they don't get any more reward for giving five stars, but they avoid the harsh words, and sometimes they won't even review YOUR work if they are seriously annoyed. It's all a bit strange. I've been here for sixteen months now, and there are things that I find difficult to accept. But I am trying to improve my writing! Generally it's not a comparison within the list of entrants. You could give each one five stars and then just vote for the one you prefer, and I think that's what most people do.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy being on the site!

I find I write less because I'm earning points by reviewing. At least that way, I can enter in non-cash contests FREE... more or less.
