This chapter is well written. It's difficult to think that Miles is everywhere Meg goes. Quite an eerie feeling when he suddenly appears, and she thinks he in the room with her even. The strange thing is that she never knew him until she bought the house.

I love the way this book is shaping up, and turning out
to be a barn burner. For, the picture actually gets clearer
with a lot more twist and turns to the plot. Keep Writing.

A rather sketchy review for such a great chapter, but I am really off duty as you know and just making sure you get a six for the record. It deserves more and I am glad you got those pumps from Judy.

Aw, thank you, Jim. What a lovely compliment and the sixth star award. Judy is leaving the site now, but has my email address because she wants to carry on reading it. I expect you are one of the four she asking. I hope you are still enjoying yourself, and getting all the research for the American part of your book?? I'm looking forward to hearing all about it when you come home. Take care, and thank you again for your really lovely comments. Love and hugs. Sandra xx

This beautifully written chapter answered many questions, but also created a few more. Miles is dead, but in a sense, still alive. Margot is alive, but needs to be dead to be with Miles, and Bessie? The jury's still out on that one - she seems to be timeless!
I can't wait to see where you take us next with this fantastic story.

Although I am joining this story late. I am intrigued and plan to stay for the ride. I will also go back into time to get the beginning, even though your notes get me to where I need in order to be to go forward.

Hello Sandra,
The Crawleys are certainly creepy Crawleys,
who will give the reader the real creepy crawlies.
Bessie's pretty creepy herself.
I think the reader may need some of those digestive dunkers
before this story ends.
Perhaps Margot is an actual descendant of Meg,
like a great great granddaughter.
Unwed mothers in the 1800's. A different time.
Well done.
Best wishes.
Robert

Well, you are the first one to come away from the 'reincarnation' of Meg, so that's good! :)) Bessie? She is a bit of an enigma, I have to go with that. LOL. Thank you, Robert, for this lovely review and the sixth golden star. You know how much I appreciate your support. Thanks, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra,

Vey good continuation once again. Things are heating up now. I'd give Bessie a slap though, just to see if I could... lol

So, why have I got this creepy feeling ... one of them belongs to me? For goodness sake, Margot, now you're being ridiculous, I'm here, and I'm alive ... aren't I? - I can't speak for anyone else, but when I would think of such things I wouldn't switch between referring to myself as I and you. I don't know if I'd switch in thought between first and second person. See what you think?

The words seemed to float in the air, then gently move like a caress through Margot's mind. - that's a really nice line.

All the best
G

You are absolutely right, Gareth. I've changed that line now, taking out, Margot, and changing, you're to I.

I have some other reviewers who think Bessie is creepy, and other things, lol.
Thanks so much for this review, my friend, I'm pleased you are still hanging in with me. Warm hugs, :)) Sandra xxx

Bessie seems to be a person with the otherworld connections. She is human (hopefully) ,but she knows so much about Miles and Meg!
'he has been waiting for you to go back to him'..what a spooky ending.
Since I was away i read both the chapters together...
Bessie suddenly appearing in the grave yard gave me shivers....
