I must confess to not having read all of these famous names, even though I've glanced at some of their works, but only in the last few years, I think God must have lead me into this world of writing, finding out I could do it very late. Beautifully written Acrostic Jim, blessings Roy

The sonnet is such a popular form, and yet, how many people do it well? Isn't that odd? FanStory has some classes you can join where you can learn several of the sonnet forms - and the teacher is amazing. But the forms are so intimidating to me. WOW.

Well-written Acrostic Poetry. I never knew that sonnet originated from Italy. I know Shakespeare wrote many sonnets and many others. Thanks for sharing and wishing you the very best in the Acrostic Poetry contest, Kit.
