I like this poem because the poet talks about having faith in God but he also encourages the reader to believe in themselves. But,
I like that the poet mentions God giving homage to God first. We've got to believe in God because if we doubt him we will certainly doubt ourselves.

Yes, having faith in God but also in yourself is important. However, I don't think I have enough faith in myself to try jumping across the air to reach the rocks. LOL Good luck with the contest.

Yes, that is a nice combo, until they conflict. But, I suppose they can also coexist. It is an interesting subject. I wish you had more room to explore the connection between the two, but alas this poem contest is too short.
