Wonderful post, Gypsy! This is perfect for all newbies to read. I wish I had read it when I first started here because I only thought it was syllabic and missed all the finer points. I wish you had put this as prose as prose is easier to promote.

Haikus are not easy to write and they are not my favourite as the restriction of so few syllables is to much for me, I just have too much to say! But when they are written well, they shine like gems. I think this is the most words you have ever posted altogether, I enjoyed your essay, love Dolly x
