Great story - the magic of love. You are so right when you find your Prince Charming and fall in love, that love will always live in your heart, even though death may separate you.

Yes, I knew you would understand exactly where this short story came from...my mind dreaming of how our valentine's were and so wishing he was physically here to hold me, but knowing he lives in my heart. Thank you, Anne.

I guess my favorite love has been watching over my shoulder and fears I might become a serial murder with my dark writing. LOL It's just been flowing from me the past days and certainly has lifted my heart. Now I will have to fight to catchup on everything else I am behind.

If it makes you feel better, then don't worry about getting behind. I've been falling behind on reviewing lately too. Today I decided to start on page one and work backward. Some days I just need to lose myself in a love story novel to escape all the negativity in the real world. :)

This is a wonderful love story. I especially like the scary part. I have three granddaughters. Before I had a knee replacement, I needed a cane. My oldest granddaughter told me I was old. She was about 11, now that I don't use a cane, I do not here anything about being old.

The work highlights Cari and Camryn's abhorrence of fairly tales and their quest for a "grownup story"; Nana's feigning of death, probably to play for time; the duo's persistence in hearing her out and plea for her not to die; Nana's jolting up from the lull with laughter causes, which causes the duo's flee that prompts Carissa's playful intervention; Nana's laughter and beckoning on the children to come; Nana's resumption with a tale of magic that was not only thrilling to the children, but puzzling as well.
The work earns its texture through its effective use of anecdotes synonymous with hide and seek.

My great grandchildren spend a lot of time with me while their mommy works and the four us enjoy watching the stars and telling stories. I guess this is one of my own and at Valentine's Day when I miss my husband so much... it felt right to share the thought that our love was still alive.

Thank you so much, Beth. I guess somewhere deep inside me I fear of writing all the special emotions that wrap around true everlasting love. If I can't do justice to it, I don't want to put it out there. Probably why I have been writing so much murder and crime...I know the dark side and the pain. But I have been attempting to dig deeper the past few days so I appreciate your review and comments. And yes, in my heart and mind, I can only dream of the true joy of being loved.
