The picture you use is perfect. In fact I think you should try to encapsulate the picture in words that will express the horror you wish to convey. That would be better than a shaming message. The picture reeks of shame!

I think the picture only reeks of shame to those of us who think trophy hunting is a barbaric vanity. The 'hunter' in the photo is clearly not ashamed of his actions.

I can only react as it appears to me. Sorry if it doesn't help you.

One must be true to their responses - I appreciate your honesty. So many reviewers give trite responses and it is refreshing to have one that is more questioning. You say your review doesn't help me - it does actually, as it makes me think more about what i've written. I can't help myself either in this case... a 5-7-5 format is challenging at the nest of times to express an idea!

Thanks for your feedback - it too is most helpful!

Ciao mystery poet,

Just a few weeks ago I wrote a poem about this horrendous sport.
I don't see how killing a beautiful creature can be labelled sport/ entertainment.
The guy is a disgrace to humanity on so many levels.
Keep safe!
We are definitely on the same page here.

Thanks for your vote. I remember your poem - I reviewed it when it was in the contest. Hunting, unless for food (and definitely never endangered animal species) is such a horrific concept to me, that animals should suffer injury and premature deaths.

Killing for the sake of it as those who hunt enjoy the kill and I have never seen the attraction in this kind of sport. The photo shows a man who has no command over his life and the only way he can gain any fame is by killing wildlife, a poignant write, love Dolly x

That fat bastard is a disgrace. I saw that photo several years ago and it has been seared in my brain and left a bad taste in my mouth ever since.
