Just remind you of a weigh in between two professional fighters!
It's amazing what a human being can do to lose a tremendous amount of weight quickly!
During my second hernia operation I went in the hospital 226 lbs
Due to the fact that I was suffering from an infection from the unsuccessful first operation I was not given any kind of nourishment for almost three full weeks.
I was not even allowed any liquid including water because they had pumped 750 mg of bile out of my system.
After the second day I couldn't stand it anymore I managed to get on my feet and go into the bathroom when I wasn't being watched and I suck down some water!
I did hear it we can live a long time without food but not without water!
When I woke up from the surgery I do remember and recall the fact that I was not closed up like previously.
There was three metal retaining stitches across the gap the size of a baseball with a pump inside the pump to poison out of me.
Dr.Luwan will come in every morning and torture me by swabbing it out!

The last two days I was there they allowed me two feedings a day of broth.
My stomach didn't understand what had happened and started growling tremendously!
When I was leaving they asked me if I wanted a wheelchair which I said no.
I told them I was running to the local Burger King!
When I weighed myself later I was 199 lbs.
Perhaps this is a new diet maybe you would love to try it?

Yes, was it was kind of funny and kind of LEAD you on as to what was going on?

The dentures thing was cute in the end!
But I still do believe you can jump down a burger and fries without teeth!

I'm glad you liked my poem. I think I would rather be overweight than go through what happened to you. You should put this in a story.

Oh my god, Linda! This is hysterical and some of us can be relate somewhat. I do have my own teeth but I weight myself in the morning, no clothes on... As if it will make a difference. Well done my friend, cheers.

I love it. Quite a story to go through all of that preparation and then realize that you had gained rather than lost weight. And then to not be able to enjoy your treat. So disappointing.

To me, this is fantasticly funny. Worthy of five stars had it a more even syllabic flow. There are lines where there a word or two extra. Examples top in line one the 2nd I've in 3 any in 4 and ever in line 6. It could simply be I read then differently than you. You may try it and let me know, please.

The poem ends with a couplet that sets up a funny example of failing even to concede failure with a illicit burger at MacDonald's.
