This a great tribute to your wife. The image is very romantic, it looks like the Florida Keys. The skies are really cloudy white, instead of a sunset. Like your poem.

This entry for the 1-6-1 Contest writing prompt obeys the contest requirement with a full set of line-end rhymes. These are unforced and have good connectivity, so flow is ensured.

Nice job of telling a happy story in a difficult structure. Picture works well.
Although I wonder if interchanging wife and spice might have said more?
Just my thought.
