Your response to the club prompt reads well. I enjoyed reading it. Your lines are filled with great imagery. I could see and feel everything you wrote. Your poem reads like those of long ago--in a good way. Your descriptions flow smoothly from one part to the other. The character in your poem has a bit too much to drink and falls into a dream sequence where s/he compares her/himself to a butterfly and loves the idea of freedom like real butterflies have.

The author's words were filled wonder, beauty, are inspiring and creative. I pondered on these words and closest I ever came to this was being on a butterfly farm where butterflies fly around with and near you. The poem portrays freedom. The artwork is exceptional and compliments this poem.

This sonnet like poem has strong images of the caterpillar in the caccoon turning into a butterfly from the insect's point of view. Both the butterfly and the human look toward the freedom of flight.
I think carries shoud be carry in line three. I also think that line is too long.
This fits the picture this challenge well.

Well, I would love to write a poem called butterfly dreams, it is so descriptive.
Secondly, I have never heard the act of being intoxicated described so well, regardless what is intoxicated by.

These are some words thst are positively alien to modern speech, I truly, I remember there was a reviewer who didn't like some of the language I wrote, he said it was too arcane, too ancient, but like the King James Bible, it's positively lyrical, so I took that as a good thing. Beautifully written Jim, great job, a really good one, blessings Roy
