This is a very lovely heartfelt poem. Yes, sometimes we do wonder why, but we take comfort in knowing that knows, and sees all. The last stanza of your poem sums it up well. Nice poem.

Thank you for sharing this true poem ( to me) that reflects the challenges and changes that have been occurring for the past 2 years. Though we suffer loss, the survivors are also suffering. I hope that changes happening would be for better times ahead.

Thank you for reviewing! I even think that it's the survivors that suffer more. But we can encourage one another.
    Blessings!

I can relate to this poem. I lost 3 sons and have no living children. One was premature, one died at 2 months of viral pneumonia, and my 16-year-old son died in a tragic accident. It was tough and I think I almost hated God for a while. I have come to grips with it now and, while I will never understand why I don't blame God or anyone else. It was just meant to be.

Thank you so much for the review! I knew about your 16-year-old son but I didn't know about the others. That's unimaginably devastating. I admire your strength to come to that conclusion! Hugs and blessings!

We get preoccupied with our own loving connections and sense of what constitutes an 'acceptable' lifespan, what time means to us, and our sense of loss can turn to blame. We are in God's hands. His purpose for us runs to His timeframe. His grace and love are always there.

True! It's just hard to see His love when these senseless tragedies happen. Thanks for the great review, LisaMay!
    Hugs!
