It seem like you folk can sense the approaching spring, and I don't blame, although our winters aren't severe, I sense we share something common, it's been hot here, but I know autumn approaches, well done, good luck in the contest, blessings Roy
Suggestion : just like a frown, (not good to leave out articles for syllable count.) 2: warm sun its source. 3: with warming rays.

Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I now live in Texas but when I lived in Northern Illinois, I would always look forward to the first signs of spring. The crocus, the jonquils, the first robin. Good luck with the contest.

I loved this. My grandmother had a way with words and, seeing something so simple, could call attention to the beauty of it. This reminded me of her and I appreciate that. Thank you for sharing.

This is a lovely spring poem for the minute contest. I believe you only have seven syllables in the first line, though. (as if to tease??) The other lines are fine, and I like the rhymes you chose. Best wishes in the contest.

I just turned seventy and am aware that, as I have aged, the signs of spring that come in late winter are more sweet to me--reminding me that I too
can still "blossom." Your minute poem is lovely and inspirational.
