I admit you had me going when you started out the chapter with Jordan discovering a sleeping coach on his mom's bed. All was well explained, of course, and it made for a heckuva first paragraph!

The proposal and acceptance were very romantic and touching. Her intermittent vomiting was certainly testimony to the depth of his proposal. Not really, but it wasn't candles and fine wine. It was gritty, and for all that it was truly romantic.

I enjoyed reading this chapter. I appreciate the recap prior to reading the next chapter. I read a lot of chapters on this site and it helps job my memory.
Your dialogue is well written, however if every time someone speaks they would have their own line, it may be easier to read. That's just my opinion and preference.

A perfect ending. I loved it. You did a wonderful job with this story. I was right there for every up and or down. I can totally relate to this lovely romance tale. being a hopeless romantic myself, this story was well within my wheelhouse. Thank you for writing such a delightful story with characters that were easy to care about and love. I am actually going to miss them and their antics.

What a lovely ending, Barbara! Gabriel is a rare man, able to put his deep love for Katherine ahead of any other needs he could have, and he's cares so much for her boys. Excellent work. I think I'll miss these two.

One little typo: After the way I spoke to you (to) yesterday,

    I have made the correction. Thank you for the catch. I usually leave little words out, now I'm adding them. LOL Thank you;

This is a great ending. Kind of set up for a sequel. Do you write sequels. A wedding in a day, not easy. I have enjoyed reading you book. I am getting hooked on the next one.

I was thrilled Katherine has said yes and there is a wedding about to take place, but can't you go down the road however far it would take and get them past all the aftermaths of cancer and let everyone be well and happy? You don't see many books end with someone puking every few minutes and the future uncertain unless it is one of books popular in the sixties where everything was too realistic and true to life to have a happy ending. Actually I really enjoyed this story and if you want to let everyone imagine their own ending that is cool too. I will imagine a happy ending.

    Katherine's treatment and then radiation will take a total of 26 weeks. Gabriel doesn't want to wait. They're getting married today.

Hi Barbara, that was a wonderful ending and to the whole book. I have been enjoying this story as you well know. Now you'll have all the edits to make. Good luck with the publishing. Hugs, Ulla:)))

    Thank you. Yes, I will edit, send it to one editor and then send it to another before I attempt to publish. I am tired of self-publishing. I never sell many books because I have no idea how to promote it.

    I agree with you. I'm prepared to do the same as you with the Fisherman's Son. Please let me know how you get on.

Well that sorted that out! I'm so pleased that they are getting married, but how about an epilogue to tell us how the cancer op went and how the wedding went. I have to know these things!! LOL Well done, my friend, I loved the story and I loved that they will get married. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

    I will think about an epilogue. I've never written one. REALLY. I'll research it. Thank you.

    It's easy. You can make it as long or short as you want. Just let your readers know that she came through all her surgery and chemo and has been cleared, and how happy the boys are they Gabe is now their dad. That sort of thing. It rounds it off nicely. xxxx
