I don't know which I like better: the emotionally interrupted and unfinished 5-7-5 ... or the humorous notes you left on the genesis of the poem. The freezing rain outside and the depression of being inside a Walmart is reason enough for the poem's mood. I liked it! Good luck with the contest Debora.

Yours is WAY funny! I've never been 'filled' with booze and the last train I was on was when I was 2-years-old. It hit a car... But that's another story entirely! lol
