Kids still have recess, lol?! I thought that had gone out the door with music and art.
This is a great look back at your school days, and is probably true for children today - except it's now TIKTOK, lol!

Usually children like order as they know where they stand. My Grandson found it difficult to take instruction and wanted to disobey every rule of the school! I expect this is why they have strict rules. The command of the bell is evident in your write, love Dolly x

This is a very unconventional, striking poem that captures a lot of the emotions of going to school in just a few words. It combines beautifully with the picture to capture all the senses

Ah school- yes, that sums it up pretty much. I work in a university in China where university is much more like high school and there students really divide their day up by breaks and meals.
