Maybe the second half answers Frank's question. Though it is oddly worded. Why Frank wanted to know who gave the Priest faith in his life is unknown.
I wonder where my faith lies[,] Frank thought.
-add, you may want to place the thought in italics or quotations
Frank has preached, now knew that it lies deep within him.
-This sentence is incomplete.
It seems a bit confusing.
