Wow! Great writing Sandra. I enjoyed the read and found one place that you might wish to modify: "When Bessie did let go, he was caught by surprise and stumbled backwards; leaving him to struggle to keep his very precarious balance..." I'm not sure if you want to keep 'very precious' there. It's probably enough for the reader to understand he was trying to keep his balance. Or, if you wish to keep 'precarious,' that works. ('very' is unnecessary.)

Now I can answer your review. Thank you so much for going back and reading this part. I think I have just deleted the character list in this one because I've updated it now. Anyway, I'm delighted you enjoyed this chapter. Thank you for your lovely review, and I will delete 'very', thanks for that! :)) Sandra xx

Hi Sandra, ...covid did nothing to harm your muse...of course after meeting that monkey...I don't think even covid could shake him up...this is one of the top of the chapters...

now go get him Margot...and Bessie...someone like Cranky needs to be scared/forced into summation...

but to get Miles to look twice...they need evidence...
and I think their on to something with the note...did he really write one???...

ok my amazing friend...for having some brain fog...this
is truly one of your best...and I think Lord Crawley who
is kind of the star of this chapter...forgives you for leaving him off the Characters list...we do understand...

I'm sorry covid still has a grip on you...lots of proteins...and liquids...

I loveeeeee this story told sweet girl...this was very exciting...now I'm off to read the #16...you and Graham
take it easy...keep your strength up...eattttttt...drinkkkkk
move around a bit...deep breathe...sending you tons of love and hugs...Linda xxoo ð???ð???ð??·ð??¹ð???ð???ð??¨â??â??ï¸?ð??©â??â??ï¸?

Did he write that note, hmm. There is something very fishy going on here, but neither Mr Cranky or Lord Brandon reckoned on coming up against Margot or Bessie. Lol! Thank you dear lady for the fun, really lovely, review. I will immediately rectify my rude mistake and put Lord Crawley in the character list!! I didn't realise that!! LOL. I think I'd better update the info on them all, as well. Love you, precious one! Take care of YOU, and I'll email later. xxxxxx Sandra xxxxxx

it's one of two things...the note Mr. Cranky has...isn't in Lord Crawley's hand writing...OR...it is...

Margot and Bessie need to find the note...
see who's hand writing it is in...

and I'm sure Lord Crawley is smiling...

your sooooo welcome you...love you so many...
and you and Graham take care as well...Linda xxoo

Hello. Wow this was an incredible start to introducing me to your characters. I will definitely have to go back and start at the start. I only hope to get to this caliber. I'm curious on many levels now. I also find the double spacing easier to read. Something I had not thought of. Mind you I've only posted one story but it's friendlier on the eyes. Thanking for this great read.

Though I think this is not truly everything about the fun with Mr Crankston-Smythe, I like the order of progressive volume of taletelling and realistic order of presentation; well said, well done; post god speed more; positively encouraging editing, negatively not wording, forgiving errors of theist-good authors-writers. Poor guy seems as if he got the mess scared out of him. Reminds me of an old movie I once saw when a young man about a person who could drink something and turn to be invisible. But he got the confession out of the bad guy. Not too deep in this but it will come together.

I'd love to be able to go back in time. I'm sure with the way the scientists are coming on, one century in the future, it might be possible. I'm glad you enjoyed this part. Thanks, Sanku. xx Sandra

I enjoyed reading another chapter, again I'm left curious as to what comes next. I appreciate the author notes and character descriptions, as they refresh my memory.
It's commendable that you have Covid and continue writings. Feel better soon.

Thank you, Kitty, for this lovely review. I'm glad you liked it. Coming in late does make it hard to understand what is going on, but I think you'll have the gist of it. I hope you're enjoying the site? Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Finally caught up--terrific--and terrifying--scene with the ghost scaring the $h!t out of the evil lawyer. So clever how you juggle the invisibility challenge. Conngrats on book of month for Chapter 9.

Thank you so much for coming back to read this chapter, Liz! You are so sweet. It took me ages to write with my head and body taking a vaccation while I carried on here. At least, that's what it felt like. Thanks for the congratulations on my BoM! I was really chuffed. Love and hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Oh how I would have loved to be able to see the look of terror on that man's face when he thought he was under attack from Margot's father's ghost. I cannot wait to see how he reacts when he taken down a peg or two. He is a horrible man that deserves to be punished.

Aw, thank you, Nomi, I'm so pleased you enjoyed this chapter. It was such fun to write it. He is a horrid man, and will deserve all that Margot and Bessie throw at him. Thank you, dear friend, for this lovely review. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

This was a nice chapter and great dialogue.

"...they lifted the picture and brought it down over his head. Then turned and quickly left the room to the sounds of him howling obscene and slanderous names. [this was funny]
